Job description

We are currently looking for a PLC Technician to join a growing team in Kitchener.

In order for you to be considered for this role you must have prior experience working as a PLC Technician in a manufacturing environment and have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting and repairing automated and robotic equipment.

Role : PLC Technician

Shift : Continentals Rotations (Days + Nights)

Payrate : $44+ / hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide general technical support and assist with troubleshooting various systems and equipment
  • Work with external resources as needed for more complex issues
  • Support ongoing improvement efforts across different areas of operations
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to help ensure equipment reliability
  • Help train team members on the use and operation of equipment
  • Qualifications

  • At least 5 years working in a similar role - PLC Technician within a manufacturing environment
  • Full understanding of Allen Bradley
  • Prior experience troubleshooting : hardware and software support of robotic and / or automaton system
