Position Overview

Malahat Skywalk is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Operations Labourer to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining our outdoor attraction by performing facility upkeep, landscaping, and supporting various operational needs. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing to an excellent visitor experience, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

In this role, you will :

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the site, including washroom cleaning, landscaping, trail maintenance, waste management, and snow removal (seasonal).
• Support Tower and Slide attendants when required.
• Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for events, tours, and seasonal activities.
• Conduct inspections of Boardwalk, Tower, trails, pathways, and visitor spaces to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Transport supplies and materials across the site.
• Perform minor repairs and report maintenance concerns to the appropriate team.
• Assist with crowd control and traffic management during peak hours.
• Provide assistance to guests, offering directions or basic information about the attraction.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for visitors and staff.
• Respond promptly to on-site emergencies, following established safety procedures.
• Support other Malahat SkyWalk departments as needed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
• Other duties as assigned
