They are a large, privately held manufacturing firm located in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Known for their innovative approach to production, this organization is seeking a strong leader to step into a pivotal Operations Manager role. Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing salaried direct reports.
• Formalized training in lean manufacturing and materials management with demonstrated practical application.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing best practices, KPIs, and advanced production methods.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives while maintaining focus on day-to-day operations and production targets.
• A creative and collaborative problem solver with the ability to develop innovative solutions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for building and developing teams.
