We are looking for an exceptional Billing Clerk to join a team in the Healthcare industry located right in Downtown Toronto.

Position: Billing Clerk
Location: Downtown Toronto
Industry: Healthcare
Type Contract for 1-2 months with potential to extend.
Work from home: Yes! Up to 3 days a week from home flexibility after training.

Responsibilities
In this Billing Clerk role in Downtown Toronto, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with attorney instructions and client billing guidelines.
- Edit time entries and draft prebills for attorney review.
- Submit electronic bills via various e-billing platforms.
- Monitor and follow up on billing approvals, denials, and rejections.
- Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and accounting staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate billing records and generate billing-related reports as requested.
- Support collections by communicating with clients and resolving billing issues or inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and client-specific billing requirements.

Qualifications
This Billing Clerk role in Downtown Toronto will require the following:
- Must have completed post-secondary education in a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Billings.
- Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
- Previous experience working in the Healthcare or similar professional services industry is a very strong asset.
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
