Job descriptionSupport the team by taking on additional duties as required. 3-5 years+ experience in Customs Brokerage. Must have a valid and current CCS. Understands and can utilize the Customs tariff. Experience with Cargowise (CW1) preferred but not mandatory. Must know the basics of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Multitasking and organizational skills. Team player and works well on their own. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review customs documentation for imports.
- Process CAD entries, ensuring compliance with company policies and Canada Customs regulations.
- Correct Canada Customs rejected entries.
- Liaise with importer and CBSA to arrange and facilitate required documentation during customs examinations.
- Complete and close files in a timely and accurate manner, in line with company and customs policies.
