Job description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual SharePoint Online Administrator for an 8-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work 1-2x / week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

Language Requirements

Bilingual in French and English essential.

Security Requirement

Must have a Government of Secret Level II Clearance.

Key Tasks

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our SharePoint Online environment, ensuring efficient collaboration and information sharing across the organization.
Manage and maintain the SharePoint Online environment, including site creation, permissions management, and content management.
Ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint Online through the implementation and management of Microsoft Purview.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Provide end-user support and training as needed.
Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 services.
Develop and maintain documentation related to SharePoint Online configurations and procedures.

Key Qualifications

5+ years experience as a SharePoint Online Administrator.

In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online configuration, management, and best practices.

Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and its application in ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Intune.

Experience with other Microsoft 365 services.

Assets

Relevant certifications in SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
