Job Description
As a Director on the Ipsos Online Communities and Custom Panels team, you will be joining a dynamic and growing team of research and community / Panel experts dedicated to bringing the consumer voice to life for some of the world’s most innovative brands.
In this role you will be responsible for retaining and accelerating the growth of the Online Community business. This position will allow you to collaborate with clients to present and leverage new tools, methods, and cutting‑edge solutions to impact your client’s business and society at large. You will work across both qualitative and quantitative avenues to interpret client objectives and guide your team in the creation of Online Communities driven by strategic engagement and research design.
What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Lead Online Community studies across the Canada market in terms of clients, research, revenue maintenance / growth and analytical rigor.
- Manage client needs related specifically to Online Communities and research offerings of the Online Communities service line.
- Independently price and write full proposals of all types, with a goal of growing Ipsos business and presence with assigned clients.
- Perform data analysis and verification, test hypotheses, draw conclusions; prepare reports and presentations — make recommendations from the data results based on the client’s requests and business issues.
- Have vision to a spectrum of client needs and help connect the dots between projects. May include linking projects to each other, pulling in other service lines, proactively sharing Ipsos capabilities of interest, and more. May include new business outreach and structured business development plans.
- Manage, mentor and train junior team members on best practices and career growth on an ongoing basis.
- Create an “internal brand” within Ipsos and give thought to the unique area (whether client‑facing or internal‑facing) and activities that will help guide what the team wants to be known for as an expert within and outside of Ipsos.
