By developing effective strategies, optimizing sales processes, and fostering collaboration, the Director of Sales contributes to the company's overall growth and success. This position will also oversee the sales management for the liquid, hazardous, and oil reclamation waste divisions, ensuring sustainable and efficient management in these critical areas.Roles & Responsibilities : Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet the company's revenue objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and create winning sales strategies.Sales Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including account executives, and sales representatives. Set sales targets, monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations.Sales Forecasting and Planning : Work closely with the finance and marketing teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor sales metrics, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand the company's customer base. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.Sales Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion. Streamline sales operations, implement sales automation tools, and ensure efficient use of resources to maximize sales productivity.Sales Performance Analysis : Track and analyze sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess individual and team performance. Provide regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.Sales Training and Development : Identify training needs and provide ongoing sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
