Sale of our equipment is growing and we are looking for a field service technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable by providing hardware and software maintenance for our AGFA products. Please visit our website to learn more about our product range.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the installation and repair of Agfa products, including checking the safety of electrical and environmental factors at customer sites, testing the product to ensure proper operation, verifying operational performance with the customer and reviewing basic operational functions with the customer to meet our training obligations during installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair operations on assigned maintenance contracts, courtesy visits as required, as well as time and material customer accounts. Maintain regular communication with the regional manager to quickly report issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Document service calls, expense and time reports on a daily basis and submit them weekly to the regional area office in accordance with established procedures; The documentation must be neat and legible.
• Be responsible for ordering parts and returning repairable spare parts. Ensure maintenance aids, tools and diagnostic equipment are in order and ready for service.
• Promote all Agfa offers (e.g. service contracts, professional services, Agfa products). Stay in close contact with the planner to meet all response time and availability commitments.
• Understand and comply with all safety policies at work as well as while driving a company vehicle.
• Exchange with other Agfa employees and be able to work effectively with different skill sets, emotions and motivations.
• Demonstrate loyalty to the company and consciously make prudent and financially responsible decisions.
• Be resourceful, creative, motivated, while being able to work without supervision. The incumbent acts as an intermediary for Agfa's management, sales and client issues (business needs, political environment, personnel changes, etc.).
