As a Field Service Engineer for Agilent, you will work at a variety of labs, so having an appetite for continuously learning about new instruments, software and consumables is key. Applying your communication skills, creativity and can-do attitude is essential. The ability to help with solving customer problems and a commitment to deliver the highest-levels of customer service is how you will build customer success.
Installs and optimizes hardware / software / network products and configurations at customer sites.
Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
Performs maintenance and repair services.
Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
Proactively responds to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
Delivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.
Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations. Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.
Qualifications
Post Secondary Degree within the science field – chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar or relevant work experience.
8+ years experience with LC, LCMS, LCQTOF in a similar position or experience as an end user.
Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Experience with Agilent solutions is desired but not essential.
Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely.
You enjoy travelling and visiting customers.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $78, - $122, CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
