About Flyscan Systems Inc.

Flyscan is at the cutting edge of technology in terms of security and environmental protection. We have created and developed an aerial camera inspection system capable of precisely identifying small oil leaks that the human eye and brain cannot process. Thanks to our state-of-the-art software, the use of AI and highly efficient algorithms, we can detect and report leaks or objects that pose a threat to pipelines to our clients

As a Traveling Field Technician with Flyscan, you’ll represent our technology in the field. You’ll perform on-site installations, maintenance, and hardware swaps across North America, while also assisting in system assembly and upgrades during off-travel periods. You’ll be part of a team pushing the boundaries of aerial leak detection and surveillance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Undertake 15 to 20 field deployments per year across Canada and the U.S.
  • Plan and prepare for travel : coordinate bookings, gather tools, pack parts.
  • Disassembly and reassembly of systems
  • Hardware replacements (sensors, boards, connectors)
  • Firmware / software updates and verification
  • Assist in troubleshooting of system hardware and software
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of interventions, issues, and resolutions.
  • Follow internal quality, safety, and compliance standards during all operations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to refine and standardize field procedures.
  • Assist in system build, integration, and upgrades when not traveling.
  • Optionally, support flight tests or conduct training at client sites.

Vous effectuerez des installations, de la maintenance et des remplacements de matériel sur site à travers l’Amérique du Nord, tout en apportant votre soutien à l’assemblage et aux mises à niveau des systèmes lors des périodes sans déplacement. Vous ferez partie d’une équipe qui repousse les limites de la détection et de la surveillance aérienne des fuites.

    Tâches et responsabilités

  • Réaliser 15 à 20 déploiements terrain par an au Canada et aux États-Unis.
  • Planifier et préparer les déplacements : coordonner les réservations, rassembler les outils, préparer les pièces.
  • Sur site, effectuer notamment :
  • Le démontage et le remontage des systèmes
  • Le remplacement de matériel (capteurs, cartes, connecteurs)
  • Les mises à jour et vérifications logicielles / firmware
  • Participer au dépannage du matériel et des logiciels systèmes.
  • Maintenir une documentation rigoureuse des interventions, problèmes et résolutions.
  • Respecter les normes internes de qualité, sécurité et conformité durant toutes les opérations.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l’ingénierie pour affiner et standardiser les procédures terrain.
  • Contribuer à l’assemblage, à l’intégration et aux mises à niveau des systèmes lors des périodes sans déplacement.
  • Optionnellement, soutenir les essais en vol ou offrir de la formation chez les clients.
