Responsibilities and Expectations :

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Switchgear Specialist to operate and manage the switchgear testing and repair segment for the IPS Winnipeg service center. As an IPS Switchgear Repair Specialist you will work with your team to demonstrate strong repair skills and commitment to providing an Unmatched Customer Experience (UCE).

• Inspect, test, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical power distribution equipment.
• Partner with sales team to draft quote proposals for future work.
• Lead a team of repair technicians on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and to customers.
• Draft and finalize inspection and maintenance reports for customers in conjunction with the technicians.
• Provide information back to the service center to quote site repairs.
• Develop new customer interest by partnering up with sales team for onsite calls.
• Support existing customer base by providing World Class services.
