Job descriptionHigh school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred. 1–3 years of experience on diesel or specialty line equipment; experience with large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment strongly preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Role Summary
The Technician Level 1 performs preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety. The role works with a safety‑focused team and supports the service and operations track.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on Aerial Work Platforms, construction tools, and specialty line equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults on diesel‐powered and specialty equipment.
- Collaborate with the service team to schedule maintenance, document work orders, and maintain equipment logs.
- Follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean work environment.

Physical Demands
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors / outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
