Job description

Our client, one of the most established and largest law firms in Quebec, is seeking an office clerk for its Montreal office to assist clients, professionals, and support staff with various operations related to the smooth running of the office.

The successful candidate will stand out for their thoroughness, organizational skills, and prioritization, which allow them to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Versatile and with a strong focus on customer service, they enjoy working as part of a team and contributing significantly to the office's success.

This individual will be required to perform physical duties and occasionally fill in at the reception desk.

Advantages

Full-time, permanent position; 9 to 5-5 : 30

Responsibilities

  • Opening and / or closing the reception area;
  • Responsibility for the reception area and all common areas;
  • Management of conference rooms (preparing, clearing, and cleaning rooms) during meetings and events;
  • Management of restaurant reservations and meal orders when required;
  • Management of the kitchen (maintenance, supply of beverages, coffee machines, food, and cleaning products);
  • Assistance in the preparation of various events and activities organized at the office;
  • Any other related tasks to support management teams and internal services (reprographics replacement, reception replacement, bank deposits, file archiving, inventories, and orders, etc.).

    Qualifications

  • Highly developed customer service skills, flexibility, and a desire to exceed client expectations;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients;
  • Multitasking skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 20 pounds (or 10 kilos);
  • Schedule flexibility and availability to work outside of office hours when required;
  • Experience in a law firm, professional firm, or in the hotel and / or restaurant industry is an asset.
