Job Title : Office Administrator
Location : KimNik Karate Academy – Unit 110 9347 200A Street, Langley, BC V1M 0B3
Job Type : Part-time
Salary : $22 to $30 / hr
Reports To : Academy’s Owners
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our Karate Academy. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
- Manage student enrollment, class scheduling, and attendance records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and inquiries from students and parents.
- Book appointments and assist with scheduling for students and instructors.
- Greet students and families warmly, creating a welcoming environment.
- Enroll new students and provide them with necessary information.
- Coordinate events, tournaments, and travel arrangements for competitions.
- Maintain records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including tuition payments, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Ensure office equipment and facilities are well-maintained and operational.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders as needed.
- Assist in creating reports, promotional materials, and other documentation.
- Uphold academy policies and procedures to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
