The Role
We are looking for a Payroll & HR and/or Accounting Administrator to join our head office team in Swift Current. This role is key to ensuring our employees are supported through accurate payroll, effective benefits administration, and smooth HR and accounting processes. It's an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly Canadian payroll, including remittances and reconciliations
- Manage employee benefits programs and absence tracking
- Prepare annual T4s, WCB filings, and monthly payroll reports for management
- Maintain timekeeping systems for payroll and costing
- Support HR and accounting tasks as required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll or related experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes and employment standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with discretion and confidentiality
Assets
- Certified Payroll Manager (CPM), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation
- Experience with multiple payrolls or multi-division organizations
