We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Rehabilitation Services department.

A staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, treatment, education and management of patients requiring Occupational Therapy. Therapy involves participation in treatment; quality assessment and ongoing continuing education in inpatient, outpatient and continuing care settings.

Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Monday to Friday, Days - 08 : 00 to 16 : 00

Dawson Creek & District Hospital Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 Acute Care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical centre for the Northeast Region of BC. Services include :

  • Dawson Creek Wide blue skies and the rolling foothills of the Northern Rockies surround Dawson Creek. The city is also known as the Mile Zero City, as it marks the start of the Alaska Highway, a 2,400 km long highway connecting Alaska and the Yukon to Western Canada and the United States. Dawson Creek has a population of approximately 12,500. It provides primary service to a population of approximately 20,000 and helps serve the larger population of the Peace River Region of 60,000. There are eleven elementary schools, one middle school and one secondary school. The Northern Lights College provides adult education.   • Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.

  • Sound professional judgment and initiative based on education and experience in the field of Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to work independently, organize time, set priorities and accurately perform work.
