The Company is seeking a Vice President, People and Mission to join their Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in a large, complex, multi-stakeholder, unionized environment, preferably in healthcare or a similar sector. This pivotal role is focused on driving a high-performance, team-based culture, and ensuring the successful execution of a People Strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and values. Key responsibilities include leading initiatives in labor and employee relations, organizational and leader development, occupational health and safety, and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. The VP, P&M will also be instrumental in fostering a mission-driven, ethical, and compassionate culture, and will champion innovative approaches to support the professional development and well-being of the workforce.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior leadership, with a demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team. They should be proactive, pragmatic, and adept at fostering a collaborative, values-based culture. Experience in introducing innovative people best practices and a commitment to a caring, high-performance culture are essential. The role requires a leader who can partner across the organization and with external stakeholders to build a dynamic health human resources strategy that meets emerging workforce needs. The VP, P&M will also be responsible for maintaining strong labor relations and ensuring the organization's strategic deliverables empower and celebrate its people.
