80 / hr Corp to Corp which is $600 / day. First to months are remote than on-site.

Cover Letter will provide the following :
A. A one-page description of similar trainer roles (including nature and size) completed within the last three years.
Cerner-certified trainers for a period of 18 months full-time, with a possibility of extension.
The candidate will support OPOR trainers to deliver all streams of the end user training for Go Lives 1 through 6. We are specifically looking for a diverse mix of clinical skills and backgrounds with an emphasis on expertise in clinical and healthcare training.
Key deliverables within the OPOR program related to E&L include, but are not limited to :
The OPOR E&L team is seeking a trainer for Go Lives 1-6 to deliver At-The-Elbow (ATE) training, Peer Mentor training, and end user training in all clinical and non-clinical disciplines.
Significant travel across the province will be required, particularly in Go Live 4-6. Trainers must have a valid driver’s license / passport for non-canadian candidates.
Trainers are expected to work a variety of shift hours for 7.5 / hrs. per shift seven days a week. Trainers are required to work 100% of the time in Nova Scotia starting April 28, 2025. Travel throughout the zones of the Nova Scotia Health Authority are required. Travel costs will be part of the secondary negotiation for all-inclusive per diem rates of the successful training partner or partners.
Knowledge
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or health-related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant health informatics experience.
2. Cerner certification in at least one (1) clinical stream
3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant clinical or health-related field.
4. Proficient knowledge of Canadian healthcare industry required; familiarity with acute care clinical, ambulatory, administrative, and community-based programs preferred.
5. Minimum of one (1) full Canadian CIS implementation experience. Experience on multiple Canadian projects an asset.
6. Minimum of three (3) years training experience delivering targeted training in health care environments
7. Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning theory and application
8. Experience designing and delivering training on healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.
9. Ability to deliver training in more than one stream of clinical / non-clinical work is considered an asset.
