Job descriptionCompleted bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, life sciences or closely related discipline. Master’s or post graduate certificate preferred. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in pharmacoeconomics, health economics, market access, or regulatory affairs. Practical involvement in activities such as conducting pharmacoeconomic evaluations (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility), preparing drug reimbursement or formulary submissions, collaborating with CADTH, Health Canada, or provincial drug programs. Strong understanding of pharmacoeconomics and drug pricing models. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in training or teaching fundamentals of your area of expertise. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with the Polytechnics’ diverse staff and student population and commitment to equity in education. Commitment to a team approach for problem solving and conflict resolution. Demonstrated research skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership in the classroom and ensure an effective and compelling learning environment.
- Carry out regularly scheduled instruction, tutoring and academic counselling of students.
- Provide a learning environment that makes effective use of available resources, work experience and field trips.
- Evaluate student progress / achievement and assume responsibility for the overall assessment of the student’s work within assigned courses.
