We offer clients advanced in-house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strong collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting, and enjoys turning data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations)
• Assist with the timely, complete, and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Perform variance analysis between actuals and budgets, clearly identifying and communicating key drivers.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs and improve visibility across the business.
• Review and reconcile foreign exchange transactions and support hedge accounting documentation in accordance with ASPE standards.
• Assist with year-end process and prepare supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
• Play a key role in the evaluation, implementation, and setup of a new ERP system, ensuring accurate data migration, efficient process design, and improved financial reporting.
• Collaborate effectively with the finance team and other business stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
