Summary of Duties :
- Provide perioperative care to patients throughout the surgical suite.
- Participate as a team member in the role of a perioperative nurse.
- Maintain patient safety through strict adherence to policies, procedures and ORNAC standards of care.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of the patient’s condition during surgery or interventional procedures.
- Active participation in learning and teaching opportunities to continuously improve surgical patient care.
- May be required to work in other areas of the Surgical Program.
- As a role model and champion, work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.
