Job description
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with specialized expertise in the IBM Cúram Social Program Management platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development life cycle, from technical solutioning and detailed programming to the implementation of front-end interfaces and back-end logic. You will act as a technical pillar for the team, providing expert support for project leads and troubleshooting complex system issues within a mission-critical case management environment.

Pay Rate: $543.7- $579.46/Diem

Responsibilities
- Design, code, and implement specialized Cúram modules, including IEG (Intelligent Evidence Gathering), Workflows, Rules, and Security.

- Translate complex technical specifications into functional, tested applications, ensuring all code aligns with established architectural and security standards.

- Provide high-level technical solutioning and guidance to project leads and team members to overcome development bottlenecks.

- Resolve and debug technical problems arising during software operation, conversions, and migrations, ensuring system reliability and scalability.

- Develop effective user interfaces and front-end interactions while managing n-tier web-based application components.

- Maintain and implement DevOps continuous delivery pipelines (using GitLab, Jenkins, or Ansible) to manage the journey from build to deployment.

- Utilize relational database technologies (Oracle) and query languages (SQL, PL/SQL) for data-driven program compilation and maintenance.

- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including code reviews, unit testing, and documenting applications within an Agile (Scrum) framework.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Cúram development and technical knowledge of the Cúram software package.

- Proficiency in Java-Cúram development, J2EE, XML/XSD, and shell scripting.

- Strong skills in JavaScript, Ant scripts, and building/using Web Service APIs.

- Experience with Linux/Windows operating systems and container-based virtualization technologies like Docker.

- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Familiarity with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a strong understanding of CI/CD tools and techniques.

- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to elicit information from diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts.
