Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Welder for a permanent, full-time opportunity with our client in the precision manufacturing industry.

In this role, you'll be responsible for performing welding duties based on technical drawings and work orders while maintaining safety standards and supporting the production of high-quality metal components and sub-assemblies.

  • Salary : $27 - $29 / hour (based on experience)
  • Location : Oakville, ON
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday | Day Shift : 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm | Afternoon Shift : 3 : 00pm to 11 : 30pm
  • Job Type : Full-time | Permanent

    • Key Responsibilities :

    Welding & Technical Execution :

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders accurately
  • Perform welding using GMAW and other welding techniques
  • Ensure work meets quality standards, inspection criteria, and client specifications
  • Follow inspection sheets and work instructions precisely

    • Safety & Operational Support :

  • Comply with company Health & Safety policies and programs
  • Operate forklift, jib, and overhead cranes as needed (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying 5-23 kg as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada
  • Welding Certificate or Diploma required
  • Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of welding / fitting experience with Metal Core Wire and Hard Wire
  • TIG welding experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
