We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network infrastructure & architecture in corporate environments and possess exceptional communication skills to effectively present complex technical concepts to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Network Design(On premise & Azure) :

  • Develop comprehensive network designs from scratch, aligning with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Create detailed network diagrams and documentation to guide implementation and future maintenance.
  • Ensure network designs are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
  • Ability to produce detailed physical and logical network diagrams
  • Design highly resilient networks leveraging dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, IBGP, & EIGRP.

Network Assessments :

  • Conduct thorough network assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze network performance metrics and traffic patterns to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Propose actionable recommendations to enhance network efficiency, security, and reliability.
  • Project Delivery :

  • Support network-related projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate implementation efforts and minimize disruptions.
  • Technical Expertise :

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP, routing, switching, VPNs, etc.) and network security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills :

  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Develop clear and concise presentations that highlight key findings and recommendations.
  • Actively listen to stakeholders and address their concerns and questions
  • Qualifications

  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10 plus years’ experience in managing Network environments
  • Minimum 5 years experience supporting a large scale, mission critical enterprise in a 24x7 operating environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certifications such CCIE, CCNP, & PCNSE are a plus, preference will be given to CCIE candidates.
  • Experience

  • Experience with network assessment tools and methodologies
  • Experience with complex TCP / IP networks which include multiple routing protocols and knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, iBGP and CWDM / DWDM technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of network fault isolation tools and protocols (sniffer traces, SNMP, etc.).
  • Experience with networking hardware and cabling technologies.
  • Experience working within Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
  • Hands-on skill and technical proficiency in router and switch configuration, network topologies, applicable software, problem determination, and troubleshooting techniques for on-premise and cloud environments( eg, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc).
  • Advanced knowledge of network tools used in supporting multiplatform environments, troubleshooting network-related problems, monitoring LAN / WAN / SAN capacity, performance, security and availability
  • Advanced knowledge of network provider / carrier services, network engineering (hardware and software), network design and planning
  • Experience applying ITIL best practices is an asset.
  • Strong problem solver and team player who is confident and challenged in a fast-paced environment supporting a wide range of technologies.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with good time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and focus on multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and documentation skills.
