Intlvac is a high-tech industrial manufacturing company based in Halton Hills, Ontario. We are currently seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. Intlvac is a world leader in the field of thin film deposition technology with a team comprised of top scientific researchers, software programmers, mechanical and electrical engineers.
Position Summary
The Electronics Technician role will focus on optical coating design, running thin film deposition equipment, process development, and conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for optical coatings. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in thin-film optics with hands-on experience in optical coating equipment and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Install equipment
- Test power equipment and systems
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
- Write specifications
- Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems

Languages : English
Education : Bachelor’s degree
Experience : minimum 3 years running thin film deposition equipment, handling and coating fiber optics, optical design for interference filters
Job Description
Location : on site at Halton Hills, Ontario location (no remote option)
Rate : $34.07 / hour; 35 to 40 hours per week
Job Type : Permanent, Full time, days
