Job descriptionBuild, implement, and continuously improve global HR policies, processes, and employee handbooks. Lead system selection and implementation for key HR programs, such as performance management, engagement, and learning tools. Manage performance management cycles, supporting managers with tools, coaching, and frameworks. Develop and maintain global compliance practices, ensuring alignment with employment regulations across our operating regions. Support professional development initiatives and employee engagement programs. Manage benefits and Employee Assistance Program administration. Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR data systems. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations on people and organizational matters. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech or global environment. Proven success attracting and hiring top-tier talent. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) are an asset. Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail. A team-oriented, proactive problem-solver. Highly technical and comfortable navigating new tools and systems. This is essential at Vish. A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help build a scalable people function for a global SaaS organization.
Please note : This is an in-office position based in our St. John’s, Newfoundland office.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Vish’s growth by attracting top talent worldwide and building the HR systems, policies, and programs that support a high-performing, people-first culture.
Core Responsibilities
Attracting and Hiring Talent
- Lead full-cycle global recruitment : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring across multiple time zones and teams.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build scalable talent pipelines.
- Select, implement, and optimize recruitment and HR technologies (for example, ATS, onboarding tools).
- Own and refine the onboarding experience to ensure new hires transition smoothly and quickly integrate into the team.
- Champion our collaborative, inclusive culture throughout all hiring and onboarding activities.
