Job description
Are you a hard-working and reliable individual open to a temporary General Labourer position in the manufacturing industry? We are currently seeking dedicated General Labourers to join our client's team in Exeter, Ontario. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic production environment and contribute to a skilled team.

Dayshift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (general labour)
Hourly : $ 22,72

Responsibilities
Assist machine operators and senior loaders with daily production and crating demands.

Help load trucks by placing wood blocks between skids.

Pick small parts and trim (e.g., screws, closures) for truckloads.

Use a nail gun to close in crates of finished products.

Operate cardboard wrapping machines or manually wrap larger product bundles into crates.

Build crates using hand tools like nail guns or saws.

Provide support to press brake operators by handling and feeding product into machines.

Check production racks to ensure all products for the next day's deliveries are accounted for.

Conduct quality control checks on outgoing products and report any issues to a supervisor.

Adhere to all established safe working procedures and wear proper safety equipment at all times.

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day.

Qualifications
Experience as a General Labourer or in a related manufacturing role is an asset.

Woodshop experience with hand tools is a requirement for the afternoon 3pm-2am shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
