Job description

About the Company
Our client is a global leader in premium, custom sports apparel. The organization partners with top professional sports leagues, teams, and brands to create high-quality, innovative products that sit at the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion.

The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Artist with a strong, distinctive visual voice and a natural connection to sport, street culture, and pop culture. This role is about creating bold, intentional graphics rooted in sport but expressed through a contemporary, elevated lens.

Apparel experience is not essential. What matters most is visual instinct, strong illustration skills, and the ability to produce work that feels confident, modern, and culturally relevant.

At a senior level, you will also own projects end-to-end — bringing structure, clarity, and creative leadership to the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create original illustrations, typography, and graphic systems inspired by sport and culture

  • Develop strong graphic concepts that translate seamlessly across apparel, campaigns, and brand touch points

  • Interpret creative direction into refined, high-impact visuals

  • Own projects from concept through to final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met

  • Partner closely with Product teams to bring ideas to life

  • Provide and receive constructive feedback while maintaining a clear creative point of view

  • Stay deeply connected to sport, athletes, streetwear, art, music, and broader cultural movements

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in graphic design and illustration

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator is essential; Photoshop and InDesign are required)

  • Expertise in vector illustration, custom marks/logos, and typographic systems

  • A refined yet expressive aesthetic, knowing when to push boundaries and when to exercise restraint

  • Strong conceptual thinking that goes beyond surface-level styling

  • Cultural fluency in sport and street fashion

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive work forward independently

  • A portfolio that demonstrates original thinking, visual restraint, and a clear, distinctive point of view

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for apparel or product

  • Familiarity with print production, materials, and manufacturing processes

  • Motion graphics, experimental, or mixed-media experience

  • Sensitivity to how graphics perform on-body and in motion

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 CAD
