About the role
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is centred around the idea that respect and understanding of human rights can serve as a positive force for change in the world. The Senior Financial Analyst will support our collective efforts to build a workplace culture that is inclusive, equitable, innovative and focused on inspiring action.
Reporting to the Vice-president, Internal Services and Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the development, monitoring, management and reporting of the Museum’s capital and operating budgets by analyzing and inputting data into the financial system, creating reports and analyzing results. This position serves as a resource to leaders throughout the organization, providing analytical methods and financial measures to support their decision making. This position will be responsible for internal reporting functions including internally developed monthly reports against budget with dashboard reporting for members of the leadership team. External reporting will include budgetary information for the corporate planning and annual report cycle.
The incumbent will be a strong and thoughtful communicator, critical thinker and innovator, and will bring a collaborative approach to their role.
