What this role is all about :

Beem Credit Union is looking for a Member Services Advisor (Temporary 14 Months) to join our Fort St. John Branch . As a Member Service Advisor at Beem, you play a vital role in driving our company's financial success. By addressing our members' core needs with excellence, you not only enhance their experience but also identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell additional products and services.

What you’ll do :

  • Open accounts, process investments & lending transactions.
  • Conduct loan interviews and collect and compile relevant information for credit risk adjudication.
  • Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, wires, drafts, term deposits, etc.
  • Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with branch administrative duties such as outgoing cheque deposit, ATM balancing, Night Deposit, etc.
  • Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.

A little about your qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of job-related experience in a financial sales and service environment
  • Basic understanding of credit products and procedures
  • Knowledgeable in full range of investment products
  • Financial planning courses considered an asset
  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • What will you gain :

  • Competitive base salary; reviewed annually. The salary range for this position is $47,500 - $58,100. The starting salary will be based on related education, training, and experience.
