Maintenance Intern
P&H MillingP&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, and semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chapati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.
From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries. Internship Overview As a Maintenance Intern at P&H Milling, you’ll get hands-on experience in maintaining and servicing milling equipment and facilities. The intern will work closely with our maintenance team and gain valuable insights into the operational aspects of a modern flour mill.
Term : May 5, 2026 – August 29, 2026
Compensation : This internship is a paid position. Your Day to Day
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on milling equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic repairs under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery upgrades.
- Participate in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and implementing corrective actions.
- Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
