Technical Skills : Proficient in welding galvanized materials; must be able to read and interpret work drawings. Certifications : Forklift certification (an asset). Mechanical Aptitude : Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate industrial saws and forklifts. Key Responsibilities :
- Custom MIG Welding : Execute high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components used in fence and gate production.
- Jig Preparation : Prepare and set up jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate welding processes.
- Specifications Interpretation : Read and interpret welding process specifications, blueprints, and work drawings to meet production requirements.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance : Operate and maintain welding machines and other related tools, ensuring optimal performance.
