We Are Hiring for a Full-Time Quality Assurance Technician at our food distribution facility in Windsor!
- 20 / hr, negotiable based on experience
- Full-time + occasional overtime
- Flexibility required for occasional evenings, weekends, and early mornings
Responsibilities :
Conduct inspections (Pre-Op, GMP, brittle materials) to ensure compliance with CFIA, FDA, and internal GMP standards.
Analyze consumer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions across teams.
Perform monthly environmental monitoring and verify finished goods meet specifications.
Develop, implement, and maintain QA procedures and programs in line with CFIA, FDA, and GFSI regulations.
Prepare for and facilitate product recalls, audits, and regulatory interactions, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related field.
1–2 years of HACCP experience with strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards (CFIA, FDA).
Familiarity with GFSI-recognized certifications (FSSC 22000 is an asset).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels.
