The Opportunity :

This role offers the chance to support a Senior Kitchen Designer across all phases of residential kitchen projects—from initial client consultations through to finalized design documentation. You’ll work hands-on with 2020 Design software to produce layouts, renderings, and detailed drawings while gaining practical experience in a collaborative studio environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build strong technical skills, strengthen your design capabilities, and work directly with experienced designers on real client projects. Our client, a well known custom cabinetry company is hiring out of their St Catherine's location.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Creating kitchen layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings using 2020 Design.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure accurate design execution.
• Updating and modifying plans based on designer direction and client feedback.
• Preparing measurements, floor plans, and product specifications.
• Compiling cabinetry, countertop, and hardware selections.
• Preparing visual presentations, mood boards, and material samples for client meetings.
• Communicating design changes to designers, vendors, and contractors.
• Producing detailed drawings and production-ready design files.
• Organizing and maintaining digital and physical project documentation.
• Ensuring designs comply with cabinetry, appliance, and building code requirements.
• Using 2020 Design to draft, visualize, and render kitchen spaces.
• Managing 3D views, walkthroughs, and realistic material visualizations.
• Troubleshooting minor software or file issues as needed.
• Preparing quotes, proposals, and order sheets.
• Assisting with product and materials research.
