Role Summary
CHL is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Clinic Manager to oversee and support our Veteran’s Assessment Clinics. This pivotal role will involve leading day-to-day clinic operations while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. The Clinic Manager will play an instrumental role in driving efficiency, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring a positive and safe work atmosphere that reflects a genuine passion for wellness and patient care.
Reporting Structure
This role will report to the Senior Executive Team.
Critical Accountabilities
Clinic Operations :
Plan, lead, and manage daily clinic operations to ensure seamless functionality.
Monitor and oversee revenue streams, budget forecasting, and financial performance.
Team Leadership and Development :
Supervise and mentor clinic team members, providing coaching and professional development.
Motivate leadership teams to achieve objectives and conduct performance appraisals for managers.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture while empowering team members.
Quality Assurance and Client Care :
Ensure high standards of service delivery through consistent quality assurance (QA) practices.
Monitor reception, appointment booking, correspondence, and client communications for efficiency and quality.
Lead efforts to deliver unparalleled standards of client satisfaction and quality medical care.
Program Development and Implementation :
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative clinical programs.
Build team alignment and buy-in for new initiatives through strong collaboration skills.
Strategic Alignment :
Support CHL’s vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives through open and transparent communication.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience :
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership or management experience, preferably in healthcare, private clinics, or a similar service-oriented industry.
Prior experience managing a mental health clinic is required.
Experience with project management and program implementation is highly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, accountability, and results-driven performance.
Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is an asset.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Health Sciences is required.
A relevant graduate degree is considered an asset.
Skills :
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
