Position Summary :

The Production Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations at Thomson Power Systems. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that balance inventory levels resource availability and delivery timelines.

The Production Scheduler collaborates closely with production supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans and to proactively address scheduling challenges.

YOUR MISSION

Major Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain optimal production schedules to maximize productivity and on-time delivery while minimizing costs and changeovers.
• Assign work orders to manufacturing resources based on capacity constraints and business rules.
• Monitor production execution and dynamically adjust schedules to resolve issues and maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production supply chain and inventory teams to ensure material availability and alignment with delivery timelines.
• Communicate production schedules and updates to relevant departments ensuring transparency and responsiveness to changes.
• Analyze production data to identify trends bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling planning and resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules work orders and resource allocations in ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
• Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and operational procedures.
