Medical Device Sales, Homecare – AB / SK
Our client develops innovative products for the global market, and they offer a broad range of proprietary medical devices, technologies and systems for use in this niche segment of healthcare. This role can be based in Calgary or Edmonton. You will manage and grow the Homecare business in the Alberta / Saskatchewan territory (40-50% travel required) calling on current and prospective clients, making sales presentations, and conducting training initiatives with clinicians. Your focus is to meet with key decision makers to drive clinical practice change and become their trusted clinical advisor. Call points include homecare providers, physicians, specialized medical labs, and community agencies / groups.
- Develop sales and territory management plans with the sales manager to achieve maximum market impact and meet or exceed sales targets
- Cultivate, and maintain relationships with customers and strategic partners within the territory
- Conduct customer visits to introduce products, therapy approaches, and their benefits
- Educate customers and provide post-sales product training, education, and support
- Use economic return and patient benefit arguments to negotiate agreements with dealers ensuring equipment is stocked and sold
- Assist dealers in delivering marketing activity to promote products
- Maintain ongoing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and credit agreements are maintained
- Prepare management reports on progress against sales plan and identifying competitor activity
- Track opportunities, sales, and monitor results with disciplined use of CRM / Salesforce
- Attend trade shows and conferences to provide information and education
Candidates must possess post secondary degree and 2 years outside sales experience with demonstrated ability to forge solid customer relationships and close sales. Proven success in a healthcare related sales position is required. Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions, car allowance and gas card, travel expenses, and health benefits.
