Position Summary

Are you a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist performs routine lab procedures. May rotates through various disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology).

Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Monday to Friday, Days - 07 : 00 to 15 : 00

Wrinch Memorial Hospital Teaching is a time-honored tradition at Wrinch Memorial hospital. There is an ongoing rotation of Medical Students, Nurse Practitioner Students and Medical Residents. It serves a population of 8,000 with :

• Nine Complex Care beds
• One Respite bed
• 13 Acute Care beds
• Dental Clinic
• Laboratory
• Wrinch Medical Clinic
• One secure psychiatric observation room
• Medical Imaging, including ultrasound
• Retail Pharmacy On-site

The Hazeltons The communities that make up what is collectively known as the Upper Skeena, are situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Gitxsan Nation.
