We are seeking a highly skilled Autocad Technician with commercial / industrial experience in architectural design, technical drafting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in translating architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, and supporting construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and oversight of architectural and structural drawings , including shop, fabrication, and installation drawings, using Autocad, Inventor and Revit.
• Take ownership of project management activities , coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution from concept through completion.
• Oversee the development of structures , including commercial buildings, offices, and supporting layouts, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
• Design and coordinate office layouts, commercial structures, and site plans , integrating amenities such as washrooms, service areas, and parking facilities.
• Supervise and coordinate trades, professionals, and direct labour , ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and on-time delivery.
• Conduct site reviews and inspections to verify construction conforms to drawings, specifications, and performance standards.
• Liaise with engineering and technical consultants to resolve design and construction issues, maintaining alignment with project goals.
• Support in the budgeting, scheduling, and scope management , while driving efficiency and compliance with Ontario Building Code and industry best practices.
