Job descriptionJourneyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal) Minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipment, other dealer lines of equipment will be considered Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Completion, or in the process of completing all Finning S- level courses an asset Self-motivated and computer literate Strong experience with : Service Information Systems, Electronic Technician and Salesforce Successful candidate will possess a strong business acumen, be customer focused and motivated to meet the customer's expectations Ability to work safely with minimal supervision This position will work a Monday to Friday day shift Shift work may be required in the future A recent driver’s abstract is required A condition of employment will be the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (Drug / Alcohol / Fitness screening) Please be advised, the successful candidate will reside in the Dawson Creek / South Peace Region Union Membership : You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.

Major Job Functions
- Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service oriented General Line or Construction Equipment environment
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
