We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant I - Lab Support in Whitby, ON (On-site) .
Responsibilities :
- Collects, sorts, and prepares dirty glassware for washing per in-house procedures.
- Operates and maintains glassware washers, dryers, and pipette washers.
- Inspects and restocks clean glassware; tracks and orders inventory as needed.
- Handles collection and disposal of lab waste, including hazardous materials (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Maintains lab cleanliness and inventories of supplies and glassware.
- Assists lab chemists as needed.
- Manages and scans lab documents, notebooks, logbooks, and ARFs; oversees off-site storage.
- May work rotating or alternating shifts as required.
