Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor based in Pointe-Claire, QC. The Medical Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, reviewing medical histories, and developing personalized treatment plans. The role includes monitoring patient progress, conducting comprehensive medical evaluations, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The Medical Doctor will also play a key role in providing education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments.
Qualifications
- Medical expertise, including diagnostic skills and knowledge of treatment protocols
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Ability to analyze medical records, conduct evaluations, and create treatment plans
- Commitment to patient care, empathy, and maintaining confidentiality
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree, with active medical licensure in Canada
- Prior clinical or hospital experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is an asset
