Surface
Purpose
Provide technical support to the surface operations (including Hollinger and Pamour Open Pits) by developing data driven strategic plans (physicals and associated costs), tracking compliance to plans and assessing the impacts of any variance to plans.
Safety and Sustainability Expectations
- Become familiar with all aspects of the Fatality Risk Management and perform inspections, job and task observations to ensure compliance to Fatality Risk Management safety standards.
- Be proactive with respect to safety. Report and correct hazards as they are identified.
- Accountable for own health and safety performance as well as wellbeing of those in the workplace.
- Conform to the critical control verification process on site.
- Follow operating procedures, design checklists, Occupational Health and Safety Act; company policies and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Actively participate in team safe meetings / discussions providing input based on observations and experience so that designs include mitigation measures / controls for all foreseeable hazards.

Understand any variance and its impact on the one month and 3 month plans.

Working Conditions
This is a site based position supporting our Timmins operation.
The work schedule is 4 days on 3 days off. As such if you do not live in the area, relocation is required.
