Role Description

This is a part-time (ideally 2-3 days / week, with potential to become full-time) on-site role for a physician to work at either of 2 locations (27 Roncesvalles Avenue (Parkdale) or 26 Dalhousie Street) both located in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health, a commitment to health equity, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) and a valid license to practice in Ontario
• Experience in sexual health and 2SLGBTQ+ care, including knowledge of STIs and treatments
• Experience in Gender Affirming Care (Hormone Treatment) an asset
• Experience in IUD Insertions / Removals and Nexplanon Insertions an asset
• Experience in HIV Primary care an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and practice empathy
• Proficiency in conducting consultations and performing examinations
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting is a plus
• Ability to provide non-judgmental care to a diverse patient population
