Job description

Accountant Staffing and Administrative Staffing are Atlantic Canada’s only specialized recruitment firms focused exclusively on finance, accounting, and administrative roles. Since 2002, we’ve built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and results. With continued growth across the New Brunswick region, we’re looking to add a Senior Recruitment Consultant (SRC) to our Saint John office.

This is a unique opportunity to join a respected firm at a time of exciting growth. As SRC, you’ll take a lead role in building our presence in New Brunswick by managing full-cycle recruitment projects, deepening client relationships, and developing a strong network of top-tier candidates. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our local strategy and be supported by a close-knit, experienced team across Atlantic Canada.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and lead accounting and administrative search assignments from start to finish
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with business owners, finance leaders, HR professionals, and executive directors across the province
  • Proactively identify, engage, and assess high-performing candidates through various sourcing strategies
  • Contribute to business development efforts and the ongoing growth of our client base
  • Meet with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business, culture, and hiring needs
  • Provide value-added guidance throughout the hiring process — including interviews, offers, negotiations, and onboarding
  • Be a trusted advisor and brand ambassador in the local market

Who You Are:

  • A motivated, high-energy professional with a passion for people, business, and results
  • Skilled in relationship building, with excellent communication and interpersonal instincts
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and confident using modern recruitment tools and social media
  • Knowledgeable about finance, accounting, and administrative functions and how they operate within organizations
  • Experienced in recruitment, HR, or a related client-facing role — with post-secondary education to match

What We Offer:

  • A permanent position with a competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a growing market
  • A supportive, collaborative team that values trust, transparency, and fun
  • The opportunity to grow your career within a well-established and respected Atlantic Canadian firm

We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We believe that it is essential for workforces to reflect the communities they serve, where everyone feels included and valued. We promote environments that value and respect all individuals, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

We encourage applications from underrepresented groups including African Canadians, Indigenous/Aboriginal People, Racially Visible Persons, Women, Persons with Disabilities, and 2SLGBTQ+ Persons.

Self-identification is encouraged but not required during the application process and accommodations can be requested during the recruitment process. If accommodations are needed during the assessment process, such as an interview or testing, please let us know and we will make arrangements to meet your needs.
