We are currently seeking a Billing and Customer Service Office Clerk to join our team in our Thompson Terminal .

Reporting to the Terminal manager, the Billing and Customer Service Office Clerk will coordinate and complete a series of office duties that include billing and customer service in support of all terminal operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful and positive customer service
• Complete accurate and timely billing of shipping documents
• Complete general office duties such as filing, reception, tracing, and customer service
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person
• Enter information about completed deliveries into computer system
• Scan documents to be saved in the imaging system
• Generate and produce reports pertaining to on-time performance for key customers
• Other duties as assigned and required to meet the goals of the terminal
• Perform all work in a safe manner and comply with all Gardewine safe work practices, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

Secondary education in related field with previous transportation experience is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to details delivered in a positive and friendly customer service manner. Outstanding telephone and customer service skills. Strong computerized data entry skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Word. Able and skilled to work independently in a fast-paced environment with daily.
