Transdev is hiring Transit Bus Operators for our Winkler location!

Position Overview

The Transit Driver plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused transportation services within the assigned service area. This position requires a professional and courteous individual who enjoys interacting with the public and is committed to maintaining high service standards. The Transit Driver is responsible for operating a transit bus, ensuring passenger safety and comfort, and adhering to scheduled routes and timelines.

You Role

• Enjoy interacting with the public
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour
• Drive one of several different buses in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule
• Maintain the appearance of the interior of the bus
• Perform pre / post trip vehicle inspections as required
• Assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids
• Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents, and communicate with dispatch as required
• Perform all other duties assigned
