Job descriptionCoordinate IIS activities from receipt to study completion, managing documentation in Lectrona Develop IIS contracts, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness Track project progress, manage documentation, and ensure timely payments Coordinate safety data exchange with pharmacovigilance teams Manage grant request validation and troubleshooting Lead grant review committees and collaborate on process improvements Ensure compliance with local and global guidelines Analyze and report on funding activities Review and assess HCP engagement for FMV compliance Maintain methodology for FMV calculations Communicate decisions and support audits and training Localize and gain approval for EAT documentation and processes Coordinate with global and local teams for EAT execution Manage drug supply and documentation for EAT processes Bilingual in English and French is an asset (for Lectrona processes) Experience in clinical trials of investigational and marketed therapies or similar Knowledge of legal, contractual activities, and budgeting for clinical studies

THE POSITION
This role reports into Medical Affairs Excellence and provides operational support across Medical Affairs (MA), therapeutic areas (TA), and in managing grant funding and cross-functional initiatives like One Team (go-to-market). The MA Operations Specialist will lead the Early Access Treatment Program, manage Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), and External Collaborative Research (ECR). Additionally, this role functions as the lead Medical Education Personnel (MEP in Lectrona) for all Human Pharmaceutical (HP) Grant funding requests, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Integration and Support for Medical Affairs & Go-to-market Activities
- Support all TAs with omnichannel development for digital and traditional medical content (e-Medical Affairs websites, education platforms, email, etc.)
- Update and improve medical content and channel usage based on customer needs and evolving tools
- Coordinate assessment of digital media and partnerships to enhance engagement
- Gather and analyze operational, strategic data, and metrics for campaign KPIs
- Provide operational support for Medical Affairs activities as needed
- Develop and manage IIS contracts in line with budgets and legal standards

This position is based in Burlington, Ontario, at 5180 South Service Road, with a flexible work arrangement requiring at least 50% office presence.
