Altruck International Truck Centres is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at our Goderich location. (33910 Airport Road Goderich)
Job Summary :
As a 310T Truck and Coach Technician you will be performing repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks ensure that they are in safe and reliable working condition. If you have a passion for trucks excellent mechanical skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance safeties and repairs on heavy-duty trucks including diesel engines transmissions brakes suspension systems and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Use manufacturers service manuals and technical data to repair and maintain vehicles
- Communicate with customers to explain work needed
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and minimize downtime
- Attend company sponsored training classes and dealer specific training courses as scheduled by management
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve processes and reduce waste
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Other related duties as assigned
